LinkedOut was built from the ground up to be a completely anonymous space for builders, developers, and founders. We do not require accounts, we do not require emails, and we do not track who you are.

When you say something on LinkedOut, it's truly between you and the void. We don't want your data, and we don't have it to sell.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the bare minimum required for the site to function:

No user accounts or login required.
No tracking scripts, analytics, or fingerprinting.
IP addresses are not permanently logged or tied to posts.

What we actually store

When you create a post on LinkedOut, we store exactly what you give us, and nothing more:

The content of your post.
The category you selected.
Any image you explicitly chose to upload (up to 15MB).
A randomly generated anonymous display name.
A cryptographic token used solely so you can edit or delete your own post.

Your Rights (Edit & Delete)

Because we do not know who you are, we use a secret token system stored entirely in your browser's local storage. This allows you to securely edit or delete your posts for up to 1 hour after posting.

Warning: If you clear your browser's local storage or use a different device, you will permanently lose the ability to edit or delete your posts, because we literally have no other way to prove you are the author.

Moderation

While we champion free speech and honesty, we do not tolerate hate speech, illegal content, or targeted harassment. Posts reported by the community may be hidden or permanently removed by our moderation team.
